How we celebrated New Years at Islander Diving in Roatan
We spent a wonderful time at Graham’s Place located near Guanaja. It is about a three hour ride in Islander to get there but well worth the time. There were plenty of people there to celebrate the coming of the new year. There were even some of them, including Graham his own self, still going at 6 AM when I went out to check on Islander at the dock. The fireworks were worth staying up past our bedtime. The trip over was a bit lumpy but on New Years Day the seas were calm and the ride back was very enjoyable.
He puts on a great display of lights for the holidays. Imagine all the work it takes to put up tens of thousands of lights each year, and then take them down for next year!
- feeding time
Graham has a pair of pelicans he has raised from babys, Tom and Jerry. They know when it’s time to eat.
The crew proclaimed this to be the first annual so make sure to get your plans made early for next year.
